In an event in London, Huawei has finally took the wrap and announced it flagship smartphone for the year, the Huawei P8 which has got 6.4mm metal unibody, earlier we have seen that Huawei has used its Ascend series for its flagship devices but now it seems company has some other plans in its mind. From some time this phone was making quite a buzz over internet and everyone was eyeing on this event as company was expected to announce it.
This Huawei P8 comes with a new connectivity features, the Signal+ tech in which company has implemented two antennas – one at the top, and the other at the bottom of the device, company claims this will help users get the best connection from networks, and also reduce the number of dropped calls.
If we talk about specs then, the Huawei P8 flaunts an 5.2-inch full HD display, under the hood it is powered by home made HiSilicon Kirin 930 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz, along with 3GB of RAM and it comes in 16GB and 32GB variant.
As per photography front, Huawei P8 features an 13-megapixel camera at the back which is the world’s first camera with a RGBW (red-green-blue-white) sensor means it can click good images under low lights, optical image stabilization and LED flash, at front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie snapper as well, it houses a a 2,680mAh battery, which can delivers 2.3 days, or 1.5 days on heavy usage as per company’s claims.

“The Huawei P8 is the most user-friendly smartphone for consumers globally, Huawei has seamlessly combined the best elements of style and durability, delivering a revolutionary user experience – especially in terms of camera capabilities and network connectivity. We fully believe this device will become one of the most popular smartphones in 2015.”
Huawei P8 will go on sale from next month in selected countries and it is priced at $532 for the 16GB variant and $639 for the 32GB variant. At this time there is no word when this device will land in India.
