We all knows that its coming soon but hadnt expected too soon, yesterday at an event in Buddh International Circuit in India. Gionee E7 is the successor of Elife E6 which was launched couple of months back. Gionee E7 will hit stores from January 15, 2014.
If we talk about its specs, Gionee E7 flaunts an 5.5 inch full HD display screen with 1920 X 1080 Full HD resolution which has OGS (One-Glass-Solution) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, screen is quite bright and responsive too and perfect for those who love watching movies or reading on the go.
There are two variants of Gionee E7, the LTE one is powered by Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AC Quad core processor ticking at of 2.5 GHz on the other hand 3G variant is powered by 2.26 GHz MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 Processor.
16 GB varinat comes with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB variant comes with 3 GB of RAM, expandable memory option is missing, as per software front it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean wrapped with Amigo 2.0.
The USP of this is 16 MP camera at back, Gionee is calling it as most sensitive camera in Android phone, it has Largan M8 lens with 1/ 2.3 inch sensor with pixel size of 1.34 micrometer which means it can do better under low light, at front it has 8 mega pixel camera.
It houses 25000 mAh battery which not very good but Snapdragon is power efficient and we can expect it to last a day under moderate usage. For connectivity it has 3G, 4G (in 32 GB vesion), WiFi, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG and NFC.
This phone is priced Rs. 26,999 for 16 GB version and Rs. 29,999 for 32 GB variant, it will be available from January 15.
